Finally theres a new place to go apart from the usual areas of town, places that are filled with shopping mall.

Its call Arab Street, a small part behind Bugis Junction. I know I sound all excited, I'm sure that many people have already been there and explore the place but cause it was my first time there.

The roads are really narrow there. Heard from my friend that it was Singapore's narrowest street.

There are two parts actually, Arab street and Haji lane. Arab street is the part where you find shops that sells Arab style batiks, carpets and accessories parts where you can buy them and customise your own necklaces. These shops closes at quite an early time though around 6 pm plus 7 pm. There are also cafes where they sell arab delicacies but there is a unique point to them. They are not just a normal cafe but a cafe that provides Shee sha to customer. Shee sha is a kind of smoking equipment that Arabs smokes, it can only be found in Arab street.

As I walked down to explore on Haji lane, I was quite surprised that there are actually boutique stores that sells clothes like what is being sold in shopping centres. Items sold there are quite pricey though.

The stores are actually in shophouses. I liked the way at how they decorated their shops of which they make use of retro items such as oldies style clocks, dressing table, etc. The shops sells retro items too. They also make use of orangey coloured light which gave a comfortable feeling.

For people who have not been there yet, go check it out some day.

How would you feel when the fault seems to be pointing towards you?

Well I would say that the feeling is not at all nice.

Tomorrow is Mother's day. As usual, we will go to a certain restaurant to celebrate it annually. Its kind of grand cause we are not only celebrating for my mum alone but many other mothers whom are my aunties and the big Mum, my grandmother. Its a big family there.

Amongst the big family, my family is sort of known to be the family who will always arrive late though recent years its getting better and sometimes we arrived punctually. I admit that sometimes it was due to me as I would spent too much time thinking of what to wear and ended up letting the whole family wait for me. But that was in the past, I'm changed now.

We were supposed to reach there by 6.30 sharp. Since it was in the evening, I decided to make use of the time to do my school work. Guess I looked at the computer too long, I had quite a bad headache and when to rest, it was around 4.30 then. When I woke up, its 5.15. I went to checked the toilet and found that daddy was inside bathing so I sat at the dining table and waited for me my turn. When he came out it was around 5.30, I went in to bathe then came out at around 5.54. I rushed to change and stuff and when we reached the bus stop its around 6.20. It must have been a bad day cause bus 13 simply refused to come and we had to wait for 35 minutes. Daddy was pissed he blamed that I took my own sweet time bathing and dressed up. When we finally reached there, mummy was pissed as well. My dad then told everyone that I'm the one that cause them to be late, mummy added in and scold me as well. I didn't bother to explain myself, my relatives just said that "its okay, since we are here already lets just start the dinner," and moved on. At that moment, It just felt like a bullet had hit me. Such unfairness.

We are fine now though, guess maybe he was old and couldn't handle his tempered properly. But sometimes I just wish that my dad wouldn't be unreasonable. Hope that he would see the picture clearly before he cast the verdict next time.

This is a request from Cheryl to blog about the people who I love and appreciate.

I don't have a perfect family, nor perfect friends too, I'm not even perfect myself but thanks...

Though Daddy don't talk to me much, just a short sentence like "Be careful when you are outside." I know he really cares for me and I love him for that.

I love my Mummy. She has been my soulmate, she has always been there for me. I know she truly cares for me as well.

Though my Big brother is really irritating , he irritates me most of the time. But he is the one who discipline me and coach me on my studies. I thank him and I do love him. (I denied about it to him too.)

Though I seldom meet up with Xiaoyu, Jennifer, Adiba, Shikin, May and Shili, I cherish them. They are my besties and I love them.

Though Sheng rong and I have drifted, he will still occasionally come and chat with me. Updating each other about our life. I love him and I wish him well now that he is juggling with both his studies and work.

Siew ling and Jolyn have been there for me too and I love them for that.

I love Hairul and Kimo, they are cute and funny. Seeing them makes my day.

I love Ain, Yani, Fazlinda and Zaty. I feel comfortable with them.

I love Yuan Ching. My shopping mate.

I love Nicky and Mervyn, they are my buddies. We have been each others listening ears, I cherish them.

I love Alvin lee and Chuan lim. They are a nice guy, I like talking to them.

I love Xiaowei. Shes nice to talk to.

I love Yew King. We have been each others listening ears too and our friendship has become stronger.

Miss Cheryl. Haha. She must be thinking, "how come haven't reach my turn yet" by the time she reads here. She has been there for me and I love her for accepting who I am as well.

Lastly,
Yit Jing. We have come a long way, he has been a soulmate to me. Though, he is as naggy as me, but I know he truly cares for me and I love him very much for that.

There are still many to mention but I love the people who walked into my life and become a part of it.

These are what I would like to say and express to them from the bottom of my heart.
